"We went on a holiday weekend with family visiting from Philippines. The location was beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The hotel was clean. Staff was attentive. We did not had hot water on our 2nd night, but the staff were quick enough to have it checked first thing in the morning. Hotel has its own charm, which is unique in its own way. "Wonderfully located -- close to everything but just far enough away to be calm and quiet. After exploring Stirling, we took the train for a day trip to Glasgow, just 45 mins away. "We had a quick overnight stay to break up a long journey and booked here so we could explore the area. In particular the Kelpies which according to Expedia is a short walk from the hotel. This isn’t true. It’s over an hour to walk and about 20 minutes in the car. Lovely hotel, superb big bed which was very comfortable. Staff very nice and dining options were good. "
