"Breakfast was amazing Walkable to amazing beach’s "

"Stayed two nights. Friendly staff. Nice room in the main lodge—beautiful view of the waterfront. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant onsite were also both good. A great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. My wife enjoyed the outdoor pool, but a little too hot for my liking. Would definitely come back. "

"Excellent location and amazing view from room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant looked very nice and was extremely busy so ended up going into town where there were lots of great options also. Room was well furnished and comfortable; our room had poor TV picture quality and the coffee machine leaked so could not be used. However on a trip like this neither are really needed so wasn’t really a major issue though not expected."

"I was skeptical of this property after seeing the main photo on my email confirmation as it looked quite dilapidated. I wanted to assure other families that this place was indeed safe and clean. You can see there has been some significant improvements around the property and maybe not typical of a big chain hotel but nonetheless it was clean, comfortable and safe and had everything we needed. Bonus', the washer was free and the beds were super comfy!"

" Beds were comfy and the owner and her daughter were absolutely lovely. The rooms were very clean and property was well maintained. When the fires caused the trails to be closed in the national park, the owner had a list of things posted on the fridge that guests could do as alternate options to hiking. She gave many great recommendations and suggestions for activities in the area as well. Very helpful. My only recommendation would be to add a few more channels or a streaming service for guests as the tv options were extremely limited which didn’t help us in the evening after we got back from dinner and we were trying to keep the kids busy. Also, an ice machine would be great so guests can get ice during the time when the office is closed like at night. One nice feature though, was the availability of a few breakfast items for purchase in the office. So other than the tv and ice machine, which are small details, it was a lovely stay and a nice property. "
