This is one of the places that would be all around terrible if it were not for the staff. I stayed two weeks and had issues almost daily. The first room was dark and had no bedside lamps, one chair was broken, the upholstery of couch and chair so dirty that one didn‘t want to sit on it. On day two the toilet flush broke, was not really fixed and I had to move rooms. Same issues in the second one, dirty furniture, plus a blob of black hair on a towel and on the bed sheets. Staff was all around very nice and tried to solve every problem, but that was not enough to justify the price.
One of the two elevators broke early on and the other one housed a cleaning cart, so it took a very long time if you wanted to use it. I used the nice lobby seating for work often and heard many other guests complain about the same things, so I don’t think I was just unlucky. This is a non smoking hotel, but they do provide ashtrays on every balcony, so there is smoke smell when you open the windows. Lastly, someones laptop was stolen in the hotel while I was there. Since the elevator has no keycard it‘s easy to just walk in/out. The surrounding area is so so. I saw a few pretty large rats around the hotel, so overall not inviting to hang out. The kitchens were okay, basic utensils/dishes/small pots/one small pan. The hotel is green but the housekeeping ran an entire dishwasher every day for my one plate, and one glas, until I told them to stop. What was good was how quiet the place is at night.
