The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. Hotel were really quick with replying to queries prior to booking and even had a hand written note and sweets upon arrival to celebrate Loved zaandam. Really pretty town. This hotel was really lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The lobby area is very lively. It did seem like it was far from the main tourist attractions but as we stayed when the shuttle was working it was fine and it drops you right by the ferry and the ferry drops you in a central area. Room big and very clean, bed very comfortable. Staff were all amazing. Breakfast was really nice, good variety. 2min walk to Zaandam station only about 10 mins on train to Amsterdam Central, and about 25 mins from airport.

I really want to say I kind thank you to the staff at the Hendrix. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing very helpful very knowledgeable and very attentive all the things you need when you just need a nice rest. It is a small hotel and the facilities are just right and just close enough/far away enough, from the busy stuff. I would definitely stay again.

Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

This hotel was just perfect for our 3 night city break. In a quiet area which is becoming the new up and coming place to be. Don't know about the night life there, we weren't interested. We went into the centre to socialise. Our 24 yr old daughter was happy to travel in & out on her own from here. Felt safe & secure. Good sized room with comfy King bed and sofa bed for 3 of us. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

I have nothing negative to say about this property. 6 of us stayed in a three bedroom apartment and we were delighted. It is in an excellent location a 5 minute stroll from the train station, which is only one stop away from central Station. The apartment was spacious, in excellent condition and very clean. Great experience from start to finish (booking process was seemless as well). This was our 2nd time staying at the Sir Adam Hotel and will certainly be staying again! The staff are extremely friendly and thoughtful. I mentioned at check in that we were going to visit a local brewery we loved and we came back to the room with complimentary bottles of beer and a lovely note - very thoughtful. The room is cosy and the bed is super comfortable. Absolutely spot on service!

The location was lovely but a far from Amsterdam with a taxi taking 20 mins. The rooms are very big and spacious.

We came to stay for 3 nights for a short break. Amazing from start to finish. Lovely receptionist and very helpful in terms of where we should visit etc. We even had a little treat left by Samira which was really appreciated - she was very helpful also! Deposit for the room returned swiftly after our stay! Not a busy location but easy transport into Central Amsterdam - took 6 minutes on the train which is a regular service! Would 10000% recommend and if we return this will be where we go.

Great location, away from the Hussle and bustle of the center but walkable

Hotel was great but given that it's a ferry ride away from the centre its a pain if you want to return in the day, or stay out after midnight.
