Poor effort really.
The line for a drink at the bar was 20 people deep, so no wine for me last night. The bedroom was to hot, turned the A/C on and it was to loud so could not sleep. I could hear people walking around upstairs. Whilst the hotel can not be blamed for the rain hitting the windows, they could have the trees cut back to atop the branches hitting the windows in the wind.

Hotel in general but 50% of the time there was no hot water so showers were impossible. The room was also very cold

I put my dirty clothes on the carpeted floor of the built-in wardrobe, only to find that they were soaking wet the next morning. Probably to do with the pipes in the wardrobe. The hotel did offer another room, which I declined. One lift was not working. Decor in the lobby on 5th floor was shabby. Service was average. Dinner was average and not cheap. Decor of the bedroom and bathroom was tired 1980's style. Location nice, parking good. 1km walk into town for an excellent choice of restaurants.

Room amenities are NIL ,no service ,bed was not tied up properly,washroom need big attention ,room need big attention . Restaurant was perfect with lot of option ,they can do better by placing hot food in breakfast . Reception is good ,no issue at all , but need to be more informative to guest who checkin specially day one when I got ,they did not bother to give me room to rest and was said checkin nothing before 2-3 o’clock because rooms were not ready ,I said I m willing to pay but no attention at all for request after my 15 hours of flight .

We stayed here while on a business trip, having sampled three of the room types over a week the best is the delux room, modern of a good size nice wet room bathroom. The comfort room we stayed in was rather tired but if you were looking for a value room its ok. We also used the restaurant nice quality food small portions for the price. The location is a 10 to 15 min walk to the town where there are lots of eateries. Bonus is free parking at the hotel for which may charge.

Cycle stop
We stayed for one night as part of a cycle tour of Holland and Belgium. Plenty of space to park our bikes. The hotel was a short walk to the town centre. A good breakfast with plenty of choice set us up for the next stage of our tour.

The room was OK but with a strange configuration of furniture with 2 armchairs placed behind the bed. There was a local event with loud music. This should have been notified at the time of booking in order to give guests the chance to stay elsewhere before confirming the reservation. This is incorrect towards guests who are hoping for peace and quiet.

Very well appointed hotel with large rooms
I received a nice surprise on arrival at the hotel when I was told I had a free upgrade to a suite. The room was very large and very clean. The bathroom was lovely with separate shower room and huge bath. The bed was very comfortable too. My only complaint was that I didn’t find the staff all that helpful. There was no tea, coffee, milk or sugar in the room so I called down to reception and was told I could go and get some ‘if I wanted some’ at the time I had only just got up and not dressed so I was disappointed with that. When I went down later I was told to go to the restaurant and get the items for myself! Not all that helpful. It’s a shame that the pool and Spa doesn’t open till 11am either but on the whole it’s a very nice hotel in a nice town.

Good For A Business Trip
Convenient hotel in a wooded area. Ample parking and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. There's a Wellness Centre too, but I didn't have time to use it.

Avoid 5th floor if you want a quiet room.
Hotel rooms are quite dilapidated, staining on furnture tops, walls in poor condition, TVs relatively dated. Taps not working well, window air vent not functional in my room. But biggest problem is the very noisy ventilation system. On the 5th floor of the old section it is impossible to sleep with the droning. On the rth floor some of the walls are literally shaking. Only place to stay in the old section is the 3rd floor which is relatively quiet. The staff are first class as is the restaurant and the area is very nice. I would recommend this hotel but NEVER stay on the 5th floor!

Was not a good place to be especially with children. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked out my window and saw a large amount of nude swimmers down below, i was not told at all that this kind of behaveer was going on at this hotel. I went to breakfast at 9:20 as it closes at 10am the food or lack of it was all dried out,people was complaining and so was into the waitress only to be told that, it closes at 10 so no more food will be layed out. So I complained to reception who did nothing at all, they just said we will talk to the chef, but thank you for bringing this to our attention. I ask for the managers number and called him several times but Mr De John does not answer. Find another hotel with manners. Keith

Reasonable choice butcould be better.
Quiet location ideal for car-based stayers. Very dark dining area with reasonable breakfast choice. Service very slow in bar area even when not busy. Some room aspects starting to look a little tired.

It was a nice hotel staff where very friendly lovely facility the only down side was they didn't have a taxi firm on 24 hr call.
