Absolute great hotel! Affordable but still has an upscale vibe. Check in staff were very professional. Very quick drive to Johan Arena if you are attending a concert. Would definitely stay again!
Everything was good, smooth check in-out, pleasant staff. Coffee machine with capsules inside a room is really good, but it would be perfect to have sugar and maybe
A nice hotel. There is a bus stop in front of hotel und it is convinient and simple to reach Amsterdam by public transport. Especially we would like to say thank you the staff of this hotel. Very kind and helpful.
Only 4/5 because we had a little bit more expectations from 4* hotel in small things, like slippers in room
Nice place with friendly staff. No place connected to the hotel where you can enjoy your view over the lake. Also the bar is the Harbour Club with is not open till late. Not a typical hotel bar where you can get drinks till late.
Overall, the day was OK, but we had an issue with the cleaning; so at this hotel, you have to request a cleaning for the next day. They don’t do it automatically accept every four days so on the second day when I realized that I couldn’t request it for the same day, I requested it for the day after and when I came back after my day out the next day, the room wasn’t clean so I told reception and they told me it would get cleaned the following day and again it wasn’t cleaned so in this case, my room wasn’t cleaned for four nights and they finally cleaned it on the fifth day (i was only there for 6 nights). No other issues, it was a decent stay. Close to the bus stop, theres a nearby town with everything you could need and mostly clean.
Nice room but hard to sleep with all the noise from the patio/restaurant below the room. Also, even though we didn't open the window, we were eaten alive by all the mosquitoes in the room.
The positives are the restaurant and breakfast food was delicious. Also, the property itself is a beautiful space.
Conveniently situated at short driving distance from Amsterdam city center (using P&R RAI is optimal and cheap). Big parking lot and nice amenities. We had a small air conditioning issue (bad luck) but will definitely go back.
Neighboring rooms making noise till 2 am and no one interfering
On another occasion I had mentioned the ultra thin mattresses, but management apparently doesn’t read this. The mattress slides off the bed every time you turn around
There is no bath at in the shower, outright dangerous especially for the elder
For the price it's really a shame to offer this kind of room, a basic room, dirty carpet, scratched floor, shower with a very reduced water flow, bedding which caused me back pain, really horrible, I've stayed in several hotels in Amsterdam and this is by far the worst, one of the girls at the reception is super unfriendly, I could say tons but I'll stop there, really move on for the price it's a shame !
