Our property was clean and nice. It is in a beautiful park like area. It is not ideal for people without a car, because it's pretty far from Haarlem, Amsterdam and too far to walk to groceries. The kitchen was sparsely furnished, so a little hard to self-cater.

We loved having a whole house to ourselves, complete with a mostly full kitchen! We felt safe and secure because of the gated entrance. Having the office closed at 5:00 most days was a bit challenging at times as we were often touring during the day and had questions in the evening. But when we were able to ask our questions, they were very helpful!

Staff were great, pool and bouncy pillow were fantastic for the kids (6 and 8), but the accommodation I don't think was the one I paid for and was quite basic, cleanliness was not great (also not terrible), the 1 HR booking for the gym was a bit annoying and not open late. The pictures of a nice pub on site - not the case there is no pub

Children friendly

Half an hour to Amsterdam and half an hour to the beach. Quiet place with pool and activities for the children. Not for light sleepers as the planes from Shiphol Airport flies over the park all day and almost all night.

Not having towels was very odd. I felt bad that the bathroom floor kept getting soaked and we didn’t have anything to clean it up. We checked in after 6 and despite two messages asking for the towel package we didn’t revive them :( extending the front desk hours would enhance the overall stay for everyone.

Enjoyable stay but come prepared!

Good option for those looking to rest whilst not too far from Amsterdam. Quite far to cycle into town though! We loved our accommodation but were disappointed by limited reception hours (they only open at 9am), little guidance from staff before and during our stay (no towels are provided!) and the lack of facilities on site (no mini market in case you forgot something, no information on closest supermarket and no restaurant) 😞

Great base camp to visit Netherlands

Great base camp to travel Netherlands. Close to everything. Would recommand having a car. Planes passing by dis not boughter us. When arrived , we went to the grocerie store near by for toilet paper and food. A little bit of duck poop on our terasse everyday but maintenance people cleaned regularly. Would definitly go back and I recommend to all my friends.

Super clean and modern and spacious - wonderful property! It felt like a plush 2nd home. Stayed there with our boys and our Great Dane and were super comfortable. About 1/2 way between beach and Amsterdam, easy to get to both in about 15 mins. Lovely view of tree, nature and little creeks. CONS: we did not know that towels would not be provided but that was a relatively easy fix compared to how much we liked everything else. Also, it's about 10 min drive to next grocery store so stock up well before getting there!

Very roomy home and perfect for a family of up to 4. Many previous reviews mention cleanliness - this home was "clean" but at the same time not superclean. Nothing worth complaining over, but could have been better. The home was in As most other reviews note, there is airplane noise. The home was nearly soundproof with all windows and doors closed.

Wir hatten das Haus 292, von außen wirkte es toll, innen leider bemerkte man einen unangenehmen Geruch gefolgt von keiner wirklichen richtig Saubarkeit, die Spinnen und der Staub haben wir direkt überall war genommen sowohl am Boden als auch an den Fenstern und Türen. Es war einfach in keinem wirklich saubern zustand, man merkte das hier schon länger nicht gereinigt wurde. Schade!!!!!

Bon séjour, par contre c’était compliqué pour l’arrivée, l’hôtel a envoyé un mail , on a dû appeler et on ne savait pas où récupérer, heureusement qu’une autre famille est venue aussi qui fait qu’on savait où récupérer les clés car à la fermeture impossible d’appeler qui que ce soit Sinon niveau propreté et confort, ça reste correcte
