Great House, Great Property, unbeatable location
such a perfect spot close to everything you ever want on the west side of Bend. Property was so nice we never wanted to leave, location was so good that any time we did, we were only a few minutes away from home base. great amenities for all kinds of fun.

Perfect Bend Getaway for Large Group
The house was very spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms for our 10 person group. Kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances (including 2 coffee pots).

Perfect Spot In Bend
Our group of 8 stayed here for a ski trip at Mt. Bachelor. It was in the perfect location! The house is amazing and has everything you could ever need. It is one of the best stocked houses we have stayed in. It is very close to everything you could ever need in Bend. We will definitely be staying here again if we are back in the area!

Overall fairly good property, only couple of issues are , one coffee was found, and TV not working the first two days, later call the owner and found out the dish was turned off upstairs

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Proximity to town, a wide variety of activity options, and plenty of beds for a group of 11 made this house perfect for us. We would return to this property and still have new activities to explore. Property owner was communicative as needed and the amenities served us well for cooking and enjoying each others company.

This place was great for a large group! Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the large outdoor space. The house was centrally located and we were able to walk to a few close breweries.

Great Family Vacation Stay
We only get out to Oregon every other year to visit our family. We were looking for a comfortable place to just hang out together. The house was large enough to let us all be together but also spread out when needed. The back yard was well used for badminton and football. We really enjoyed our stay

Exceptional stay
One of the best stocked Vrbo stays we have ever had. You know those stays where you have one dishwasher pod, half paper towel roll, and no extra toilet paper. Such a nice change of pace here. Thank you! Nice house in close location to everything. Tons of yard games, bikes, and backs right up to trail system. Made a stressful destination wedding easier.

Annual Mancation

Great Holiday Family Retreat
Doug’s home was more than what we expected. We had everything we needed and more! Plenty of space for our whole family of 13 to spread out. We loved all the beautiful furnishings. The house is close to everything in and around Bend and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back in the summer.

Perfect house
My family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The variety of beds/rooms was perfect for us. My children and their spouses were very happy to have king beds and each of my grandchildren had their own bed, which led to better rest than having to share. The house was stocked with all the necessities; we loved having lots of towels as everyone took advantage of the hot tub! Overall, a great stay and wonderful place to celebrate Thanksgiving!

What a beautiful property… the house had such great bedrooms with big beds, super comfortable for all of us. And we loved seeing the deer in the back yard every evening! The owner is wonderful to work with, very helpful. Highly recommend this property!

A nice home for many guests to enjoy. Good location, easy walk to downtown activities. The home was clean, great layout and yard. The home was well maintained, but may be time for new carpet. A small issue was immediately responded to and fixed.

Fantastic place to stay!
We had a group of 6 stay at the property for a work retreat - not only was it a perfect housing fit for a group that size, but it also served as a great space to spend our time in the evenings - we ended up ordering dinner to be delivered every night we were there so we could hang out in the beautiful backyard and play games in the spacious living room. Also, Doug is a fantastic property owner and was super quick to respond when I had questions. Couldn't recommend this property more, we will certainly be coming back!

Perfect stay for a large group
The house was everything we had hoped for and more. Fantastic location, especially for those who utilize all of the trails. The house was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked, and the yard was beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed volleyball and badminton while chillaxing in the back yard. This was a 5 star rental and we hope to be back some day.

The perfect place!
We brought our large blended-family of six kids, some of their partners, and our grandchild together to visit my sister and her family. The house was perfect for us! Very spacious and homey. We didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed the shaded, beautiful backyard while we BBQd. The location could not be better. It’s close to amenities, the Deschutes River, and all the nature trails you can imagine including a short drive to Shevlin Park. We enjoyed as much as we could when we were there and would have stayed if we could. Thank you for the hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

Best framily vacation!
We stayed here with a group of our closest friends. It was the perfect house for a group of active, Bend-loving friends! We enjoyed volleyball, hot tubbing, 2 large tables, and the massive lawn in the backyard. The kitchen was very accommodating for our group size. There was a dining room table that fit all of us. We had plenty of beds, rooms, and bathrooms. The house was extremely comfortable and accommodating. The garage was large as was the driveway. We felt the listing didn’t do the house justice. Doug, the host, was also easy to communicate with. We absolutely adored our stay here and will definitely be coming back! We do wish the house could be dog friendly.

I've stayed at 20+ VRBO properties over the years and it's rare when the photos are less impressive that the home; but that is the case with Skyline Lodge. Well maintained, great bedroom and bathroom comfort and distribution, plenty of room to relax outside, excellent location with easy biking access down to the river, downtown, or Old Mill and Doug responded immediately when we needed assistance. We're already planning our next stay.

Wedding Week - Parents and family of the groom
The house is perfectly located to everything in Bend! Having previously lived in Bend for 6 years, it was so much fun to return 4 years later for our son’s wedding. The house has everything we needed and plenty of space for a large family! Everything from the large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and the absolutely gorgeous back yard it was tremendous. We will forever remember our week back in Bend!!!

There were eight of us visiting Bend on a golf trip and Doug’s house and property was awesome and easily accomplished all of us comfortably. The backyard and hot tub was a bonus. If you have the opportunity to rent this property, you won’t be be disappointed

Just the right size!
We had a 30th birthday group together and this house was perfect! It was large so you could have a lot of people without being cramped. The location was awesome - walking distance to many breweries that we took advantage of on the nicer days! We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot for a spring ski trip
We had the best time in Bend. The house was spacious with a wonderful backyard to play lawn games after a day of skiing. The location cannot be beat on the West Side of Bend, with easy access to the mountain, walking distance to downtown & many amazing breweries and restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking essentials that allowed us to have an enchilada feed one night. 10/10 recommend. Thanks for everything Doug!

A wonderful week!
We had a fabulous extended family trip at this property that was perfect for our group of 11. We are from Virginia and had our first White Christmas in many years! Skiing at Mt Bachelor presented challenging conditions but our three grandkids skiing for the first time fell in love with it. We also went ice skating and swimming at great community facilities in Bend. We did need to contact owner more than once as there were no extra blankets. For sure we think more blankets need to be readily available and maybe some cozy throws in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped with a couple of notable exceptions. More than enough plates and cups and sharp knives, but we found only two teaspoons and only 11 table knives. Definitely not enough for a house that has six bedrooms! As lots of cooking was going on over the holidays with our big group, a few more large mixing bowls and pots and pans would be great. An extra couple of cutting boards wd also be very welcome. Shd we do another big trip like this, we wd definitely stay again! Thanks. Molly and Paul Clark

We all enjoyed our family reunion at the house. The kitchen was very well stocked and the whole house was well supplied. Our only complaint was controlling the heat. The temperature would go down to 63 at night and so keeping the house at a comfortable temperature was difficult.

Large home -great location
This home features a great open kitchen, living and dining area. Plus it has tons of bedrooms - seven I think… with two of the bedrooms having 2 beds. I will admit some of the beds were pretty firm and not the most comfortable, but I was able to find the right bed for me since there were so many choices! The kitchen was fully stocked, there were games, a great gas fireplace, and a hot tub. Perfect location walking distance to 10 Barrel Brewing and other local establishments. Would stay again!
