"This is a stunning hotel and the grounds are also spectacular and very nicely kept. The rooms and food choices for evening meal and breakfast are also very good. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the staff from not clearing empty tables of empty glasses in both the bar and restaurant, despite a number of just staff walking by and not even looking at. For example we had a night cap cocktail in the bar just after 10pm and it was fairly quiet, we was in the bar for about 30-40 minutes and the bar counter surface was stacked high with glasses and bottles bought from the main restaurant and there must have been 3-4 tables in the bar with empty glasses that also hadn't been collected even thought there were staff walking in and out of the bar and also staff at the bar not taking any orders - very poor to see. The same thing in the morning we had breakfast just after 9am and there was at least 3 empty tables for the duration we were there (45-50 minutes) with left cups, plates, bowls and cutlery not being cleared."

"This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."

"Very easy check-in process at the self help kiosks. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. Loved how close it was to nature trails and convenient shopping plaza across the street. Room was comfortable."
