"Really nice quite spot, its super clean and well maintained! I'd stay there again it was perfect for the 3 of us on our 3 night stay! The fire pit right by the lake was great it also has a really nice gas grill we took advantage of that. We cooked in several meals the kitchen was well set up. "

"The lake view is lovely. We wish the dock hadn’t been taken out for the season. Helpful suggestions - The kitchen needs to be reorganized and some equipment replaced. Especially the dinner dishes and pots and pans. Dishwasher doesn’t work as well as it should. Lightning in the bedrooms and bathrooms was not sufficient. Bedrooms need bedside lamps. The living room also needs additional non-ceiling level lighting. The living room photo on the site is not accurate. There were no side chairs in the space during our stay. The management company was very responsive when I reached out with questions. "

"The house itself was fine. Accommodated the 14 people we had well with enough places to sleep. We wanted a place on the water with docks (in the amenities) because we were bringing 2 boats and planned being on the water the whole weekend. I had a conversation via VRBO messenger in March prior to booking for Labor Day weekend, regarding if docks were included and was told yes there were 2 docks and a hoist that would accommodate a pontoon. Great! We booked and had 14 people coming, 2 boats ready for a great weekend! Fast forward to Labor Day weekend…We check in get unpacked and messaged about what docks we were to use, and were told what 2 docks were ours and then told we could not tie the boats up to them????? Then told where the boat launch was, that we would have to trailer in and out our boats all weekend on a holiday weekend!!!!!! NOT WHAT WE ASKED or PAID FOR! I specifically messaged about this before booking! Why in the world would we need docks if not for boats? The whole weekend was about being on the water! We travelled 3 hours trailering boats only to have to do it all weekend. The response was horrible with the daughter who was never spoken to before. There was no trying to make it right, other arrangements, money back?!!!…NOTHING. "

"We went for Labor Day weekend and our girls enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks, as well as the lake and bonfire with the neighbors. Neighbors were very friendly and communication with the owner was prompt and thorough. We would go back!"

"What a great place for a large group of ladies! We were able to separate into groups based on "early risers", "night owls", the "who needs sleep, we are on vacation" and the "in-betweens". The pavilion came in handy both for shade and when a rain storm blew in. The lawn area and landscaping was nice and we got to see some hummingbirds.As for the swimming-the area was clean, the bottom was not slimey nor extremely rocky. There's a cement area with chairs for sunning. We didnt get a chance to fish. We did a wine tour bus instead of renting the boat. We also didnt use the firepit. It was a not conveniently placed but did not effect our experience at all. Next time we circle through Leelenau, this place is one we plan to return to, if its available."
