"We loved our stay here! This was our second year coming back; we liked it so much last year that we booked it again. The cottage feels secluded and is peaceful. The location is fantastic – right on Lake Leelanau, with beautiful sunsets and easy access to so many of the places we enjoy in both the Traverse City and Leelanau Peninsula areas – wineries, hiking areas, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore only 30 minutes away. The kitchen is nice and big and well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals — which is great because you don't want to leave the property! The deck was another favorite. The deck is wonderful, with plenty of comfortable seating and umbrellas for shade. We loved sitting outside every morning with our coffee and enjoyed many of our lunches and dinners at the table, taking in the beautiful lake view. We also really appreciated the two kayaks. We used them often and loved being able to just head out on the lake whenever we wanted - especially at sunset.We were so happy to find a dog-friendly cottage that was also incredibly clean. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our pup feel as welcomed as we were – including the jar of dog biscuits and food and water bowls waiting for her in the kitchen. Our only suggestion would be to replace the mattresses. One in particular sags quite a bit in the middle and could definitely use an update.Otherwise, we had another absolutely wonderful stay and would happily come back again!"

"This was a great place to settle in for exploring the Leelanau Peninsula…very close to Suttons Bay, Leland, and Northport, and not far from Traverse City and Glen Arbor. The building is a bit old and a little funky but the unit itself was recently updated, freshly painted, and ultra clean; bed linens were lovely and towels were plentiful. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay!"

"Great place for our extended families to hang out over a long weekend. 7 adults plus five kids, and we had plenty of space. Comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms & kitchens (bonus downstairs kitchen), big dining table. The lake is easily accessible, and we enjoyed kayaking (with their provided kayaks set up down at the beach), paddleboarding, and swimming during the day, and bon fire at night. Great location to Traverse City (20mins), and surrounding interests on the Leelanau Peninsula (Sutton's Bay 10mins, Empire 45 mins)."

"It was really nice sized and fit our party of 7 women well, even with the one bathroom, having two sinks was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked to help with our meals. The internet/wifi was a bit slow and the tv stopped working due to that connectivity issue. The location of the place was wonderful and easy to go in and out of town. Overall our stay was great and we would come back again!"

"The house was gorgeous from the outside especially the lake front. Very convenient for a morning dip and kayaking paddle boarding on the lake. The inside of the house was beautiful as well but the cabinet knobs were loose and some we have to screw them back in. The amenities like hand soap tp etc were lacking. Assuming that guests probably would bring their own. Overall the kids had fun esp. with board games available and they had fun making smores on the bonfire by the lake. Host Laurie was quick to reply with questions.Thank you so much. Traverse city is a beautiful place"

"We had a fantastic stay! This home feels even more spacious and serene in-person. This was a great place to host a ladies' weekend on the lake. The hosts are very responsive and the amenities perfect for a lakeside getaway. Highly recommend this venue."
