We had the most amazing stay at Hawkins Farms Cellars. We had never been to Northern Michigan before and had the best time exploring. The beach across the street is great for looking for rocks. Found a Petoskey stone or two. You will want water shoes. I was amazed by how clean the rental was. You could tell they paid attention to the details. The room had a very comfortable king size bed and the living room has a pull out couch. Our 12 year old twins stayed on the pull out couch and were fine. The rental had all the pans and dishes we needed. Coffee pot worked great. But please please do not miss the restaurant down stairs. The food was excellent but we did not realize they were closed Monday and Tuesday so we did not get to try all the menu items we wanted to taste. The restaurant staff was so friendly and helpful with information about the area. The Chef and her brother could not have been nicer. Can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely be back!! One suggestion would be coat hooks downstairs where you leave your shoes. ☺️ I also personally liked the location. Basically equal distance to TC or Suttons Bay. It had everything we needed. The host was great. We were even able to order food from the restaurant on site and they delivered right to our door. The chicken alfredo pizza was fantastic and the peach and honey wine was excellent. The location was perfect for getting to all the fun places to see in the area.
