First time staying here, very nice hotel, everything was very clean.
Everyone very friendly, parking was a slight problem if you came back late in the evening after being out , enjoyed our stay would recommend
Lodge has been recently renovated resulting in comfortable and well designed rooms. Room with patio area facing Grand Traverse Bay had an amazing view and enjoyable outdoor seating. Room rate after Labor Day but before fall colors was a very good value.
The renovations were very nice making the rooms feel more luxurious. The balcony was delightful. We were able to witness the most beautiful sunrise.
One negative was that the body wash and conditioner were both empty making for a less than desirable way to shampoo and shower. An oversight, I'm sure, but nonetheless inconvenient. Overall it was a very nice clean room.
Room was great! Comfortable, quiet, spacious, cute little patio with chairs.
The only thing is that the Hotel/lodge is not attached to the casino. We had to ask someone that was outside where to go
It is a short drive up a hill. There is shuttle service, but it was confusing upon arrival about where to go for checkout.

Liked: Staff & service
hotel room was spacious and well designed. Staff was very nice. Some downsides include an overly complex AC system, and a porch with significant insect activity, without much evidence of cleaning.
I thought the property was beautiful. The patio doors to a terrace or small deck for a sitting area was wonderful. I would of liked it closer to the casino but the shuttle was nice. Not having a place for breakfast nearby we drove a bit for this. I would stay again it was really nice and I would recommend it to others
Room was great - clean, comfortable and well decorated.
However, air conditioner was too loud and fire door in hallway which was access to/from another section of building was always slamming shut when used. Hard to sleep well.
Out of hand soap everywhere in the hotel. None in rooms. Couldnt get from supplier. Maybe get some from walmart so you can wash he hand. Rooms very nice and great view.
Enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful. Wish they could have done something with the weather lol. Riding a motorcycle in the rain is a little hairy. All in all I really enjoyed staying there. Highly recommend them
