"Barbara's chalet was amazing! The view from the the porch is breathtaking. Barbara and her husband were extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed in the chalet for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it! The walk up from the train station is pretty steep and was quite the cardio workout, but after a few days we got the hang of it. The chalet is off the beaten path and has very little vehicle traffic so it was a very peaceful vacation. We loved every minute of it!"

Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. "We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet & the view from our deck was phenomenal, loved hearing the cow bells in the morning & in the evening. The water that was running constantly from the spouts in Ernen was so good & cold!
