"We really liked Amble. It feels authentic and it is not too touristy. The fact that it has several very good restaurants including The Boat House and The Fish Shack is a real selling point. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a lot of storage space and the kitchen diner is roomy and attractive. It is a well maintained house that is about 7 minutes walk away from the coast. We had a very pleasant stay here and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owners and housekeeper."

"The property was well equipped, comfortable and a lovely house. The beds were good we slept well, the location is quiet and not busy being a cu de sac, we found the landing needed a blind at the window for privacy between bedrooms and bathroom.The garden needs some TLC otherwise very good."

"Love are stay. Very welcoming. Staff were great. Room clean but could do with a paint job as paint was flaking. Plenty of choice for tea and coffee. For the room being above a pub it was very quiet. Breakfast good"

"Lovely property and very welcoming hosts, lots of equipment for dogs too if needed- bowls, cushion, outside tap for cleaning them. Rooms lovely, we travelled with a 17 and 14 year old and used all the rooms. Youngest ( and taller child) slept in the office room in the sofa bed which was very comfy and great fit him. Kitchen really well equipped. We were there for 5 nts so needed extra toilet roll and dishwasher tablets, but that’s normal when we go away. Local walks from the cottage really nice and short drive to other areas. Also nice restaurants and Tesco express short walk from the house. If travelling in this area again would definitely stay again"
