Evergreen - Lakefront home with dock, screened porch, AC & kayaks

"This is our second time staying at this home. The home is very comfortable, and the screened porch is such a lovely place to enjoy the lake and not be eaten by mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable. The walk to the lake was short and not too sleep for us old folks. We love the property, and have loved communicating with the actual the home owners. Unfortunately, recently they opted to go with Casago, which we have found much less favorable. All business, and their follow up with our questions took weeks. That said, we love the place and location."

"This house exceeded every expectation for a two-family getaway. Everything was spotless on arrival, and the owner had labeled cabinets, drawers, and closets so thoroughly that we found what we needed within minutes of walking in. Space was never an issue: eight of us across two families spread out comfortably with room left over.The setting outside made the trip. Two docks gave us plenty of water access, and the wraparound deck offered enough seating that anyone could grab a coffee and watch the lake without competing for a spot. The owner let us use the kayaks and paddle boards, which the kids especially loved. The grill ran hot and cooked evenly, and we put it to good use with several big family meals followed by games on the deck.The owner communicated everything we needed through VRBO's messaging before check-in, and we arrived fully informed with no questions left hanging. That upfront prep meant we never had to reach out once we were there and could just enjoy the stay. The house felt like staying in someone's well-loved home rather than a generic rental, and that difference showed in every detail. We'd book again without hesitation."

The Lake House on Sunset Point - Lakefront home with private dock & pool table

"The home was comfortable and clean. The kitchen could be better stocked with pots and pans and better organized. There was a skillet which had been used and not cleaned - it had thick grease in it. The lower outdoor level had not been cleaned for a good while: patio dirty, cushions stained and dirty. We would never rent this property again though because of the humidity/wet situation on the lower level. There was a dehumidifier in the queen bedroom. When I stepped near it, my foot got wet. I found that a large area of the carpeting around it was wet. It also smelled of mildew throughout the lower level. Our grandchildren were sleeping in the twin bedroom and our daughter was concerned for their health sleeping there. We ended up keeping all doors open down there to somewhat air it out. If the doors to the queen bedroom were left closed, the odor was unbearable. We only stayed because of all the prep and travel that had gone into our visit."

"The house was clean, newly renovated and in a very convenient location on the lake. The dock was very nice, new, and had a roof for some shade. The water level was extremely low for docking my boat, but that is out of the owners control due to a drought. The floating dock could only be accessed from off the ground. Thankfully I brought extra boat fenders due to the amount of jet ski traffic causing several waves. It was not located in a no wake zone. There is a nice public boat ramp about 10 minutes from the house and open to the public. I was the only person there for unloading and loading my boat. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. The AC worked great and the grill was clean. The internet worked well, was fast and we had no glitches. There was plenty of parking my truck, trailer and my wife’s SUV in the turnaround driveway. . The house was located in a Cal-de-sac. The neighborhood was extremely quiet at night but the house and dock are well lit with multiple string lights. We loved our stay and if available, will rent the same location ext year."
