"Shelter Island is one of our favorite places to stay in the San Diego area. It has a quiet, island-resort feel that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The rooms are spacious, and we especially appreciate that the air conditioning isn’t the typical loud single unit slapped into the wall. The rooms themselves are comfortable, although the property overall could benefit from some updating. That said, we have no real complaints and enjoyed our stay here."

The Dana on Mission Bay

"Our 5 day stay at the Dana was awesome. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The staff were all so friendly. The Firefly restaurant was delicious and so convenient. Being on a marina the views are amazing especially the stunning sunsets. You can rent bikes , kayaks and jet skis for a fee. The pools were refreshing. The rooms were very clean and they replenished the towels each day. Some say the rooms are outdated a bit but didn’t bother us. You’re on vacation, in the rooms to sleep. Our king size bed and the pillows were comfy . They have a free shuttle that took us to SeaWorld and back….that was cool. We loved our stay and had no complaints. We will be back again."
