From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by. It was an emotional visit for me as i last saw the hotel as my boarding school in 1968 I also fount my initials carved on a wall I remember this even after 48 years The hotel was fantastic we enjoyed our stay for one night and had a lovely breakfast. Clean room and good value for money. Slightly under staffed in my opinion but the staff available where great. Very close to Hook Train station which is what I needed as this was a business trip to be close to Basingstoke. Had a great nights sleep.

Unforutunately I didnt arrive at the hotel in time to sample the spa or the restaurant, which was a bummer. I arrived at 21:15 the exact time admission ended. Was able to eat at in The Lounge though and food was hot but small proportions for cost. However over all i had a good nights sleep and the staff where very welcoming and helpful.

Haven’t been to Aviator Hampshire for a number of years, but it was just as lovely as I remembered. Room, Sky Bar, Breakfast, Staff - all exceptional. Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!

Perfect relaxing weekend away. Amazing staff and treatments, couldn't have had a better time.

The hotel is easy accessible via the eighth floor of the adjoining car park, which takes you straight into the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean and stylish, however we wasn’t aware that it was very high up. We was on the 16th floor and my son was very scared to look out of the bedroom window or go into the lift. This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. The reception staff are excellent and set the tone for a great stay. We enjoyed our overnight stay and found the hotel to be extremely inviting and comfortable with the refurbishment to date being of a very high standard. There are works still going on to add further eateries, bedrooms and an outside courtyard area to the hotel which will create stunning facilities.
