"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The rooms are somewhat modern without charm but I would still recommend. Short walk to the walled city of Lucca and free public parking right in front of the hotel so very convenient. Breakfast was adequate with excellent made to order coffee. Good value 3 stars hotel. "

"Superb breakfast and so many very attentive staff in a most charming space. The hotel room was impeccably clean and appeared freshly painted. The hotel is in a very grand traditional style, and the staff were always super courteous and full of useful information. Ilenya and Yuliya to name two, but really the whole team are excellent. Bike hire on site, situated right next to the boulevard and the beach, close to town but the quieter end. A perfect stay and ideal base for exploring Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio of course. I just marked the stars down for amenities as I wasn’t aware the pool would be closed (empty in fact). Having said that, it is probably still out of season and would’ve been too cold. Well done All, looking forward to returning some day. "

"Room was run down and the breakfast was included in the past but not now. Staff said that the name change and rebranding was meant to attract business people but there were no working outlets in the room and no usb or other charging outlets apart from one socket in the bathroom. Very inconvenient. The place was much nicer to stay at in the past 15 years but has been let down by its owners sadly. "

"Lovely 5-night family stay at Verisilia Lido. Room was spacious, lovely and clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice and great quality. Staff was very helpful and nice. Kids loved the option to take bikes, play tennis and paddle"

"Had a room in the annex/dependance because we were 2 adults/2 children and the space was large and beautiful! Staff, breakfast, daily snacks were well worth the fare! Convenient location and immaculately clean! Great find!"
