Parking excellent at this property and grounds beautifully maintained. Our hosts were extremely helpful with a friendly welcome. We stayed in the twin bed en suite bedroom. The water was always hot which was welcome and the room at a comfortable temperature. The ensuite shower and toilet space small. Theywere very adaptable to people's needs and wishes for breakfasts, which were excellent in quality and quantity. A very good siting from which to explore each direction of north Wales. We had an excellent stay.

The owners were wonderful and friendly. The amenities were not. No wifi in our room because the router couldn’t reach. Out toilet/shower was so small you will continuously bump into either the toilet or the shower. The hair dryer blew from over heating if on high setting within a minute, on low within 3 minutes. Location was Okay. Parking was convenient. My welsh travel companion loved the breakfast.
Lovely stay at this cosy little B&B. Clean room. Lovely host. Delicious and generous breakfast included and lovely chats. The perfect place if you're hiking Snowdon and lots of great places close by.
Our thanks To Mark and Ruth whose welcome made our brief weekend stay visiting our daughter at the university make us wish it could have been longer, spotless comfortable and importantly for me accessible room a more than ample breakfast to get us going for the day.
Thank you so much and we look forward to returning next time with our dogs too

B&B with associated Tea shop. Tea shop open from 8am to 5pm. Breakfast from 8am to 9am. Best English breakfast ever! Perfect everything! Rooms a little dated but well kept and clean. There is some confusion over which rooms are dog friendly. Check before you book. However, owner was dog accommodating. Pubs and take-away about 10 minute drive away.
DISGUSTED. After waiting for 20 minutes before I seen someone. A rude lady approached me. I said 'I've got a booking' she said ‘with a dog''did you tell us about the dog’ I said I booked online which states that it's pet friendly. She began complaining about Hotels.com and how they have nothing to do with her and how I shouldn’t use them. There was a family sat in there having food whilst she's making me and my dog feel like we have some kind of disease.
He is the most clean, well behaved dog you will ever meet. Saying 'have you brought his bed' 'have you brought his bowls' 'have you brought a mat for his bowls' 'I don't want him on any furniture' I felt so embarrassed by this point. She finally started walking me to the room saying I should have rang them. She said 'that's what everyone else does'
She has nothing to do with Hotels.com and I shouldn’t have booked on there. Then don’t have an online booking system
She then said to me 'we charge an extra £10 per night in cash for the dog'
I said I have card & it says £6 online. She said if you have card and you're going into Llanberis then you can get cash out can't you. I said I've only got my phone, that's what I use. She started to lose her patience and aggressively said that she has no other means of payment. I was holding back tears when she was stood in the room, I was so embarrassed. I booked a last minute trip as I’ve been having a difficult time with my health and this so called human being was just outrageous.
Room was very clean and tidy. Fresh linen and towels . Staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious a lot . Was refilled. Lot of parking . Easy access to a lot of the tourist attractions.

Breakfast was great, freshly made full English, you could choose your ingredients.owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.spacious room ,comfortable and even though we had a shared bathroom it wasn’t a problem as there was only another couple who used it and we only them saw at breakfast.no problem with parking.the property isn’t actually in Bangor, not far though.situated near a roundabout ,perfect location for exploring
Both Mark and Ruth were very warm, welcoming and helpful and made our first visit to this especially beautiful part of Wales a memorable holiday. We hope to return some day….
Lovely hosts , great breakfast Clean comfortable room Noise from traffic as situated near a roundabout Unfortunately roadwork taking place but it will be marvelous when finished Great views from windows and garden Easy travel distance to places of interest
Double room in annexe was generous size and well presented. Extras like toiletries not provided but towels and bedding ARE provided (Hotels.com please note as your info says otherwise!). Good breakfast with plenty of choice. No traffic noise at night. Owners, Ruth and Mark, are lovely hosts. We were sorry to leave.
Beautiful place although without a vehicle it was difficult to get anywhere for groceries or to a restaurant.. Catching a bus must be planned with the bus schedule where they come every hour or somtime 2 hours periods during day and none at night. Not to say anything against the beautiful and charming place. I just reccomend having a car when staying here.
Mark and Ruth were very welcoming and informative of the area. The Accommodation was a ground floor Chalet with good facilities. The venue also doubled up as a Tea Room with a good menu. Some rooms are in the main house. Good parking for guests and passing trade. As with the majority of Wales the Post Codes cover quite large areas but Ty Mawr is at a crossroads so is fairly easy to locate. Breakfasts are superb and Ruth pays attention to detail, catering for individual tastes. "Poppy" their Golden Labradour is very friendly.
