They are not even allowing check in 15 mins early. We have waited for 1.30 hours to get the room. Normally hotels adjust the timing since we're going to check out 10 hours early.

When I arrived as scheduled for my reservation the manager informed me I could not stay at this hotel for some maintenance reason. He arrange for me to stay at a different property but I declined his offer and did not receive a refund of any sort.

This was literally the least comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in—it was hard and squeaked when I sat on it. The bathroom had no place to hang a towel or toiletry kit, so everything had to be placed on the toilet. In fact, there’s nowhere to hang a towel anywhere inside the room, so it had to be laid on the bed or flat wooden bench in the room. Location is not ideal, but is workable. It’s 1 km from the nearest train station (BTS Victory Monument) but right around the corner from a bus stop. Bangkok’s buses can be hard to navigate for a foreigner though, and aren’t super reliable, but it’s easy to catch a tuk tuk, since they hang out near the bus stop. They stock the room with bottles of water, instant coffee, and snacks each day, which is very nice.

Disappointed!
The room are does not tally to the pics I saw on its website. When checked in, was told by the staff no water in bath room, got to wait for 20 minutes then water supply will return. If want to shower go to the next building. We tot it was just one time but next morning, my wife brush her teeth and to her shock, no water coming out of the tap. I went to recep to asked, was told again to wait for a while so staff can turn on the water supply. Once again staff told us, we can use the bathroom opposite the hotel. We decided to booked another hotel and check out. When we do so and mentioned the reason we decided to leave, then the staff asked us whether we want to check into the hotel opposite Sodsai as it belongs to the same owner. And he mentioned water supply turn off because they are doing some repair on the water pipe. Wonder why they don’t let us check into the hotel opposite on day one? It’s quite a bad service on the part of the hotel to knowingly inconvenient the guest and does not take the initiative to put us in the hotel opposite which belongs to them. Very Disappointed! ☹️

The room was very clean. The mattress was a little uncomfortable but far better than others we have slept on in Thailand. It has all the basics you would need and is very very affordable.

Fantastic place and great location
Wow, this place was fantastic! My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and would have stayed more but they were full. The rooms are cozy and clean (and even include snacks!)...the WiFi is fast and the staff are terrific! It's within a 10 minute walk of the metro and close enough to grab a taxi or tuk tuk to all the main tourist sights. Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel near Pratunam Market
This hotel is my first hotel ever in Bangkok, and was not disappointing. Close location, easy access, clean decent room will greet you. Friendly hotel receptionist also counts. They're all helpful, and also it's near to pratunam market for those shoppaholic, and going with uber to MBK is only 40-50 bahts from this hotel.

We love stayed in Sodsai Garden.
Mr. Ton, who met me in the reception desk is a helpful person, he explained the terms and conditions in the hotel very well, the room is good in wide, the bed were comfortable, only a little bit problem, the maid not cleaned the floor well, she/he cleaned the bed and all in the table. the access to pratunam market and BTS is near. We will stay in this hotel in next trip, insya Allah.

All's well at Sodsai
We had a wonderful time at Sodsai - big room, comfy beddings, cool and comfortable, near bts and pratunam shopping area... the only problem we had was that we were placed on the 4th floor and it had been very difficult to go up and down the stairs everyday... other than that, would be very glad to recommend sodsai to our frineds. As for myself, will definitely stay at sosai again. Two thumbs up!!!

Great stay.
It was a good place to stay. popular area for locals and not so many tourists. •awesome wifi. •free minibar (nuddlecup,nuts,cookie,coffee and water) •comes with toiletries such as: shampoo, shower gel But not conditioner. •fresh towels everyday, and sheets when needed. A lot of local street food for good prices around 20-40 bhat. Close to the park to workout, always a workout class for the public to join at 6pm. Close to victory point to take the train or bus to others locations. Close walking distance to the most malls, furthers away was around 1 hour.

This time I stayed on the first floor, it was very bad since the room could not keep the sound from outside. Besides, there was the group outside drinking and speaking very loud. It was pretty much better if you got the room on the 4th floor.

Near Transport the Airport
We were only here 1 night before flying out of the city, but it was a wonderful stay. The "mini bar" is complimentary, and included peanuts, water bottles, noodle cups, and some desserts. AC worked well, and the bathroom and room were fairly clean.

Convenient, clean, friendly, and homely.
Safe place for girls because you need a magnetic pass to opeb the main door and another one to get to to your room. People were friendly and room service completed without a having to be asked twice(actually you just need to put a flower outside the door). Staff is readily available before 11 pm and service is completed quickly after you asked for anything. Only really negative part is the washroom is too small and there is no elevator.

Not a Good Experienc
I learned that you need to carefully read the Expedia advertising text and review the photos with a great deal of care. The Room Photos were strongly decorated for these photos to the point that I did not recognize then as the same space. The bathroom was a postage stamp size and the Guest Room looked like a jail cell. I recognize that I was looking for a 2 Star hotel, but I expect to see the same thing in your photos as in real life. Just be honest in your photo representations, and do't make "a sow's ear into a silk flower". The staff were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect for the price.

Hotel is in hot location. It is very clean . Staff were very nice . They checked us in after 3am. I would recommend it for my friends but couple of things though ... They didn't do room service for us the next day. It was very disappointing to see cluttered room after u come back from a long day . Just make sure to ask them before u leave for the day.

Nice hotel but location is far from the BTS
The hotel is just beside Seasom Siam Hotel. You can tell the taxi driver go to season siam hotel and there is a road beside season siam hotel only. Walk straight and turn left you can find Sodsai Garden in your left hand side. The hotel staff is so pleasant, and there is a 7-eleven behind the hotel. Beside that, if you need room keeping you have to put a flower outside the door and hang it so that the worker get to know you need room keeping. Unfortunately, this hotel is far from the BTS(Victory Monument). You have to walk 10-15min to the BTS station. Unless, you take cab when you go out.

Hotel is located in the alley off the main road. Its the alley beside seasons siam hotel. Its abt 12 minutes walk to victory monument station. Hotel staff are excellent, though they so not have kitchen to provide food but u can get breakfast along the main road. Hotel is 4 storey without lift so ask for ground or lower floor if u have heavy luggages. Strong wifi signal, my stay is pleasant.

Strategic location, reasonable price
The location is quite strategic, which is only 15 mins walk from transportation hub of Bangkok city, Victory Monument. Siam shopping area and Pratunam market are reachable by bus. The room is clean and they offer daily cleaning service for free. They also refill snacks and water daily upon request. However, the sink is easily clogged and the water flow is too slow.

Basic room for basic price .. ok location
The stay was ok.. rooms were alright .. clean and basic.. hard matress but we experienced this in all of the Thai hotels. We had a problem with flooding drainage in the toilet/bathroom ( all combined ina little box area which was kijnd of wierd.) we phoned for help but due to the language barrier nothing got fixed. luckily we were able to shower in another room that did not spout out drainage before we departed.
