"The hut looked really shabby from the outside but, thankfully, it was better inside. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but there were no towels or tea-towels, dishcloths etc. and no tea, coffee etc.
The bed linen wasn’t great, with stains and burn marks on the duvet cover. The mattress was stained.
As a one night stop-over on a bike ride it was OK, just."

Nestled beside Bala Lake, this charming market town offers sailing, kayaking, and fishing on Wales' largest natural lake. Hike nearby Snowdonia National Park trails or ride the historic Bala Lake Railway for spectacular views across the water.
Welcoming, professional and friendly team.
Dealt with an electrical issue in my room quickly and without fuss whilst I enjoyed a complimentary drink in the cosy bar.
Excellent food.
10 minute walk to the beautiful lake.
Really enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.

Great value stop over when travelling north through Wales. We were looking for a family room for one night and could see that it was a busy weekend with very little availability across north Wales. Plas Coch was available, great price and decent big room for the three of us. Ok, so it could do with a lick of paint and a polish in a few places but it was clean, well situated and the staff were helpful in helping us park.
Perfect for our needs, thank you.

Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last.
Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge.
Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area.
Definitely recommended

It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the

Lovely stay in the isolated guest house, on the edge of snowdonia national park in travel distance of betws y coed, far enough to experience true rural Wales. Run perfectly by the two owners whom made us very welcome. Looking forward to return!
