"A great place for our 50th Anniversary. This is a beautiful resort. The food is great at the on-site restaurant Holoholo Grill. The resort has a mini mart The Gourmet Marketplace was very useful. This resort is about 1/2 mile from SHOPS AT KUKUIULA for shopping and many dining options. Ample parking at the resort. A short drive to Shipwreck Beach."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Hale Ma’Ana Hou was more than we could have asked for. The amazing views, the beautiful pool and the spacious house for our family of 10 was more than we could’ve asked for. The Garden Island staff was attentive to our every request and we appreciated how quickly they responded to our questions."

"The proximity to Baby Beach and shops, restaurants was great. The place was clean and roomy, as listed. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely hot when we were there and, as described in the listing, the house doesn't have AC so it was very uncomfortable when we were in the house. The bedroom I was in cooled down about midnight, which was fine with me, but overall the house was too uncomfortable.We also had problems with the circuit breakers tripping 3 or 4 times, for example, when you plugged in the coffee maker and the hot water carafe at the same time.There is also a new induction stove, which we had to scan the QR code on the front of the stove to see how it worked. We did find the 2 induction frying pans that work on the stovetop, but the other pans that are provided in the house don't work with that new stovetop. Providing guests with that info would be greatly appreciated.The host was very responsive with sending out someone to fix the hose in one of the bedroom's swamp coolers. We'd called her a couple of times regarding already so decided to fix the tripped breakers and figure out how the stove worked ourselves."
