"We loved this charming renovated fisherman’s cottage. At the harbour and next to the Anchor Hotel. A very friendly tea shop is also located nearby. Johnshaven is a beautiful village with many walks nearby. Highly recommend this property."

"An extemely comfotable property. The owners have clearly put a great deal of thought in to the decor, furnishings and layout. The expansive lounge is a wonderful space. Log burners in both the lounge and sunroom. Lovely views over rolling countryside. The accommodation provides everything you will ever need for a relaxing countryside break. The hosts also genrously provide logs for the fires. We couldn't have been more satisfied."

"We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. So this type of stay allows us to not bother our family and we have all the comforts of home. It also serves as a home base so we can have day trips and have a place to come back to and rest. "The cottage is very well equipped. It is spacious with everything you need supplied e.g. kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets. The surrounding area is stunning and the coastal walk was beautiful. There is no outside space or view from the cottage however."
