Small but perfectly formed, Fifie Cottage has been fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing and stress-free stay. The fenced garden to the front of the property with raised flower beds and seating is perfectly positioned to watch the goings on at the harbour while inside underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner in the lounge ensure comfort throughout the year. The Johnshaven Heritage Museum is certainly also worth a visit. Further up the coast is the popular seaside town of Stonehaven, with its seasonal open air heated pool – a great attraction – and Dunnottar Castle, a beautiful and mysterious ruin, strategically placed on a rocky outcrop on the outskirts of the town. Its turbulent history and breath-taking views make it a must-see destination. For more culture and retail, both Aberdeen and Dundee are within an hours drive, while to the west, the Angus Glens have a variety of walks in stunning scenery. Beach 300 yards. Pub 200 yards.

Lovely and serene

I had a great stay at Fifie Cottage! It's well equipped, tasteful, and in a great location. The lobster shop, pub, and shop are just down the street and it's right on the coastal pathway for some magnificent walks. I'm an author and it's so nice and quiet, I got some actual work done!
