The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway. "

"Overnight stay. Due to our own problems could not check in arriving after 12mn very good instructions to gain entry and directions to room. Breakfast made to order delicious and plentiful. Hotel is tierd in places but room was modern obviously newly updated. Bed very comfortable family are improving areas all the time. Well worth a visit if you are coming to Castle Douglas."
