"The breakfast was very good. The room was bigger than expected though still on the smaller side. The service provided was excellent. The biggest issue was the parking - the parking lot at the back of the hotel was under renovation so I had to park at a lot that was a ten minutes’ walk away. The area was full of nightlife activities so I felt a little unsafe walking to the hotel from the car park late at night due to all the drunk people on the streets."

"This was, arguably, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Although one of the staff who spoke English was friendly and helpful, the place is a complete dump. Dust and hair all over the carpet, stains on the walls but the worst was the bed ... the mattress felt broken and I could not stop itching and scratching all night. Love staying at this hotel in Takamatsu
"This is our second time staying at the JR hotel clement takamatsu. We enjoyed it the first time we were here and decided to stay again our 2nd trip. The standard room is plenty spacious and the large windows with view of the city/ferry area are just lovely. The location is great, with both the main JR train station, ferry, and local train station all within 1-2 blocks. Which also means plenty of food and convenience around as well. We actually ate in the hotel restaurant this time for the breakfast buffet, summer afternoon tea, and dinner buffet. The afternoon tea was quite good and the price was great (especially with the yen->usd right now). The breakfast and dinner buffets were also pretty good for the prices and the amount of things offered."
