"Excellent location and great views but amenities were lacking, air conditioning was not working due to seasonal operations which led to uncomfortable sleeping situation. Electrical options for plug in devices was old, no usb ports. Had to request toilet paper as it was not replenished when room was cleaned, the suite has a lot of space but a very small flat screen tv that didn’t offer any other languages other than Italian, Place feels old and is in need of some updating. "A very friendly hotel, with staff who did everything they could to help us, despite the language barrier. It is comfortable, if old fashioned in decor, which we liked. We had expected to be able to get breakfast and a beer or a glass of wine at night, neither of which was available, though you can get non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks and snacks from vending machines in the foyer. The area is basically industrial but is convenient for the Pompeii ruins, which are just a 20 minute walk away."
