This was our second visit to this special home. We again found the house to be sparkling clean, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable and quiet. We look forward to returning!
What a wonderful place! The hosts were communicative and gracious, and the house fit the needs of our small family gathering perfectly. From the kitchen to the games collection and beautiful outdoor spaces, it was a warm, comfortable place, so easy to relax in! The setting is phenomenal, beautiful scenery, close drives to delicious food and coffee, near the zoo and lots of local farm animals to admire on the drives in and out. We will absolutely look to stay again!!
Everything was wonderful!!! The house was cozy and spotless! The yard and view were absolutely beautiful and just perfect for a family gathering! We would definitely return!!!
This place is amazing. Property host is excellent with communication and the check in/ out process was very clear and easy. Beautiful home and property. Will definitely stay here again. Neighbors are awesome and friendly.
The property is wonderful. The house is very spacious, with very comfortable beds and sitting areas. We did no cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The outdoor space was our favorite. So peaceful with great views. Looking forward to visiting again.
My wife and I was able to host immediately family with a week away from work and stress. We were 30 minutes from coast, 5 minutes away from wineries, as well as close to Atascadero and SLO. All while enjoying peaceful morning coffees on patio as well as good dinner and conversations around firepit table.
This was a delightful home perfectly situated between San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Paso Robles, and Morro Bay. The backyard is a fantastic place to relax or eat dinner. The kitchen is large and well-appointed. There were plenty of very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Air conditioning and internet worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again for another central coast excursion.
This is the third time we have stayed at the house. It accommodates our entire family comfortably with all the outdoor and indoor seating. The views outback are stunning and the location is quiet and bucolic. It is centrally located for visits to both the nearby wineries and the coast. We will be back again. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!
This house was great for our family of five. We came to the area for a family wedding nearby. There was everything we needed and the views from the back yard were gorgeous. The host was very helpful - she even bought a few things for me for a bridal shower I hosted at the house. Thank you, Dana!
This home was everything we were hoping for. Very clean and open areas. Kitchen had everything that we needed. AC was a must in the 100+ degree weather. Outside patio was wonderful with lots of padded seats and shade. Our little dogs loved it and were safe inside the walls.
This property is breathtaking. There’s a long driveway that leads you to a beautiful ranch style home. You will be surrounded by trees and ample space between neighbors. Enjoy star gazing at night! These hosts have thought of everything. They have amazing seating outside with a fire pit and grill. They also provide lots of supplies during your stay. I highly recommend and would love to visit again!
Over all this is excellent experience, love the property, there are lots build-in small functions in the house made our stay easy and comfortable. It will be perfect if there is air purifiers because when you open the door you will have ‘old house smell’, but overall it’s still earning 5 stars! Thank you for sharing your house!
We had a great visit to the rural area of Atascadero. The location was great for getting away from city life It was quiet with lots of birds and farm animals around. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are all comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out. It is an older home with a mixture of new and older decor/appliances. Overall, we enjoyed it and felt it was worth the cost.
Our group had a wonderful time staying at Dana's property in Atascadero over Labor Day weekend. We felt so fortunate to find this rental at the last minute. The house worked great for our group: 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog. We all felt right at home with the large kitchen and relaxing backyard. Our dog truly loved the backyard. When it was time to go home, we had to lure to the car with treats. FYI for dog owners, the yard is fully fenced and pretty secure. If we find ourselves going back, this is one place we would absolutely stay again!
Beautiful. The home was welcoming, comfortable and fun: Little fun treasures around every corner. The beds were very comfortable and all reported sleeping well. We enjoyed the kitchen, every utensil you could possibly need, two ovens! We also spent a lot of time outside and the round table with the fire pit was perfect for cool mornings and chilly evenings. The view, it takes your breath away. We saw bluebirds and woodpeckers, a hawk and a few other birds, a hummingbird buzzed through once. The owner responded to all inquiries immediately, they were supportive and kind. Lots to do and see, everything was as described and we enjoyed our stay so much.
We were there over the Thanksgiving holiday with our two adult daughters, their husbands, our two grand-daughters (8 and 4), and our five dogs. Yes, five dogs! We all had a wonderful time! The kitchen is huge and had double ovens, an island with a gas cooktop and plenty of work space, and a double sink, dishwasher, and old-school trash compactor...which our adult kids loved. There was bedroom and bathroom space enough for everyone. We found the bed in the master bedroom very comfortable! It was a new experience being on three acres! The property was safely fenced and cross fenced, and great for walking the dogs around the perimeter. The granddaughters loved the toys there, and the many Disney DVDs on-hand.We worked in trips to the Madonna Inn in SLO, visits to friends, and lots of playtime. One morning a huge hot-air balloon landed in the field just across the back (hogwire) fence, and everyone loved watching the people disembark and the balloon deflate. This is a fantastic house for gathering the family and spending the holidays in SLO County. Plenty of space for cooking during Thanksgiving or Christmas; plenty of BBQ and outdoor sitting and eating space for summers. It would also be a good place to stay with family during the Mid-State Fair. All thumbs-up.
We had such a great stay at this beautiful property. All the rooms and beds were very comfortable and fit 8 adults comfortably. Would rent again, highly recommend.
