Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. They went out of their way to help as much as possible. They speak English. Cool lobby/bar/lounge area. Dry ski room storage. Shuttle from station. My back went out on the plane. He saw my distress and kindly moved my heavy luggage up the stairs to my room. Onsen helped relieve my pain. Draft beer also helped as well as free whiskey. Our search turned up Chalet Burlap Furanui so we gave it a try. It's a cute boutique hotel just a short walk from the Furano Kitanomine ski area. Free parking across the street, onsen on site along with free happy hour drinks! However, the best feature of this property is the warm and friendly staff that make you feel welcomed! Rates are reasonable and include a hot breakfast. We stayed in one of the Villas - slightly expensive but worth the money for the privacy, kitchenette and own bathroom. Onsen and sauna a bonus. Staff very friendly and willing to help.
