It was a nice place, well fitted out, spacious and modern. However, it was very cold, and the only heating in the whole property was two small fan heaters. These were totally inadequate to warm up such a large space. We complained to the host about the cold but we were advised that there was nothing that could be done to improve the situation. Overall we felt that this was not a satisfactory response, and we felt that we should have been advised, at the time of booking, that the property might be very cold. Also, the second bedroom which was set up for a twin room had put up camp beds that are so uncomfortable we had to sleep on the settee. The biggest problem however is the constant dog barking and howling coming from the surrounding neighbours which was unbearable. There was a kennel housing more than two dogs just 3 metres from the master and third bedrooms which led to disturbed sleep every night (see attached photo). We have stayed in a lot of places worldwide yet this was the worst we’ve ever experienced for nighttime noise.We will not be coming back or recommend the villa. VRBO also need to be aware that when we initially booked the villa that the owner (not managing agent) made direct contact and offered us a discount if we cancelled with VRBO and went with them directly which we obviously declined as we have used your service for years." The Finca is well positioned to explore the amazing mountainous north and interior, whilst easy roads connect South and close to Las Palmas. The house is beautiful with a hot shower and access to your very own banana plantation which felt very special. There is a rooftop to sit on and outside dining area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Our children loved the pool which is heated, so even on cloudy days was well used! We would not hesitate to recommend, we had a great holiday.
