"For a country pub, the room was very well equipped with comfy bed, excellent shower and everything I could need. Food delicious, Staff helpful and breakfast waitress in particular was friendly and caring."

"Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...

"Busy, popular pub. Easter weekend just drawing to a close, had been very busy, food was running out. Staff were still friendly and happy. Location and garden were great (weather was good!) beer was excellent. "
