A very unique property, being a converted Paddle Steamer to a riverside hotel. Rooms were small and bathroom tiny, but that was to be expected. Overall a very pleasant stay, with one exception (other than the sealions, who were noisy!) but the hotel cannot do anything about that,.other than provide earplugs - a nice touch! The one exception was, unfortunately the young man who checked us in (sorry didn't get his name) did not give a very welcoming impression at all. He seemed to be just "going through the motions" and not enjoying his job!! Shame that this was our first impression and hence we only felt able to offer a 4 star review.

We stayed during renovations so there was less parking and some noise from the construction crews. When those are complete it will be a great place to stay. We will come back next time we go to the local race track!
