Great hotel with fantastic facilities. Hard to fault. The beach is lovely and the lagoon was a nice surprise. Pretty much had the hotel to ourselves during Ramadan, but service continued as usual (incl. drinks).

The sea was partly visible from our room and the back up staff service was above par. Breakfast was very good. Good location and decent 5 star hotel. Will stay here again.

Staff were exceptionally good. Every single staff member we came across was polite, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Good food options. Have to make a special mention for the pool bar team who we found cheerful and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel.

The food was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional — especially Ega from the restaurant and Maryam at reception. I would also like to highlight Star Tabarak, who works in the PlayStation area. My kids absolutely fell in love with her — she is truly magnificent, knowledgeable, and caring.

The best area to stay in Aqaba is the city centre, particularly around the waterfront and the Corniche.
This area is the heart of Aqaba, offering easy access to the Red Sea, the Marina, and the main shopping and dining spots. The Corniche is a lovely promenade stretching along the coast, great for a stroll, and you'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes lining the streets like King Hussein Street and Raghadan Street. It's very walkable and convenient for exploring the city's main attractions.
Couples will find the city centre ideal for a romantic getaway. Many hotels here offer stunning sea views and direct access to private beaches or sophisticated beach clubs. You can enjoy sunset cruises, savour fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants, and explore the Aqaba Fort and the Archaeological Museum, which are both within easy reach.
For families, staying near the Corniche offers plenty of activities. You're close to public beaches where children can play in the sand and shallow waters. Boat trips for snorkelling or glass-bottom boat tours are readily available from the marina.

When is the best time to go to Aqaba?
The best time to visit Aqaba is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from March to May and from September to November, when the weather is pleasantly warm and ideal for both land and water activities.
During these months, the daytime temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 25°C to 30°C, which is superb for enjoying the beaches, snorkelling, and diving in the Red Sea. The evenings are also cooler, making it pleasant for dining outdoors or exploring the city. This period avoids the intense heat of summer and the slightly cooler, though still mild, temperatures of winter.
For those planning a trip focused on outdoor adventures and water sports, these shoulder seasons offer the best conditions. The sea is calm and warm, visibility for diving is excellent, and the desert excursions, such as trips to Wadi Rum, are much more enjoyable without the extreme summer heat.
