Praying for the safety of the people there. We had a great time. Hotel is older but located one block from town and it is directly on the River. Wonderful sunrises. Staff was great. Yes, it’s older but it’s quaint and right on the river. You can sit in Adirondack chairs right outside your room and fish, watch the shrimp boats go by or sunrise and sunset. Every room is decorated a little different. What a quaint little place to stay with a shared deck with water view. Was a cute little place, staff friendly and helpful. Good restaurant right there with $10.00 gift certificate given at check in.. we didn’t use it as we wanted to get down the road, only open for breakfast and brunch. Found a good restaurant downtown for dinner and it was great. It shows its age, there is no elevator to the second floor. While we thought we were reserving a specific room, we were given a different room.
