"This hotel was amazing, we were traveling with our daughter so we had a suite for three people and it was perfect! The facility is beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful and worked very hard to make our time there feel special. Breakfast is great and a beautiful patio on the water - perfect way to start the day. Spa was also very nice. If you are staying in Novigrad this is absolutely the best place to stay!"

Maistra Select Belvedere Resort

8/10 Good

"No heating in the appartment at the end of October means 10degrees C at night outside… so it’s cold in the appartment as well."

Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna

8/10 Good

"Great hotel and perfect location for our event Ironman 70.3 Poreč! Smaller room than expected (compared to photos) but soon got used to it and we used the balcony to store the bike. Comfortable bed, with adequate storage and spacious bathroom. Daily room service to replenish towels and hotel service for extra pillows and anything else you may need. We had breakfast and dinner included - both services had a wide variety of foods at the buffet that were all delicious. They even had an earlier breakfast service provided on race day which was greatly appreciated! The chefs were there to cook fresh food to keep everything replenished, and the staff were always there to help tidy away. Me and my husband enjoyed trying out the different foods each night, specially the deserts! One thing we made use of was the sauna and wellness area which you could use for 2 hours per day. We used the Sauna and steam room a lot, specially post race. Towels, water and tea were provided. My husband also used the Gym there on the first night which we were pleasantly surprised by, lots of free weights, machines and a squat rack. One highlight for me was being able to get my hair done by the hotel hair dresser, I wanted some french plaits done for the race and she managed to squeeze me in the day before. Very reasonably priced and friendly. Overall really happy with our stay, friendly staff and great experience. Such a lovely place to stay, we would come back!"

Maistra Camping Amarin Mobile homes

10/10 Excellent

"My family and I were traveling and stumbled upon this camping/trailer house. We booked 2 nights and my wife absolutely loved it. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids. Two bathrooms. A large covered deck. And all the amenities you could ask for. On the beach with several pools as an alternate. Great stay."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Antonci?

The best time to visit Antonci is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the region is less crowded.

May and June offer warm, sunny days superb for exploring the Istrian countryside and enjoying outdoor activities without the peak summer heat. The landscapes are lush, and the sea is warm enough for swimming towards the end of June. This period is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway with opportunities for cycling, hiking, and wine tasting.

September and October provide a quieter experience with comfortable temperatures, making it excellent for those who prefer to avoid the busiest tourist season. The sea remains warm for swimming, and it's harvest season, which means local festivals and fresh produce are abundant.
