The house is situated on a hill overlooking Carnoustie.
It is very nicely decorated and well maintained. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was well laid out. The beds were very comfortable. The ensuite had a larger shower cubicle than average.
Breakfast was very nice, with good quality ingredients.
Lisa was a very good host, welcoming and full of useful information

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion!
