"Accommodation and location is really lovely. Sadly communication prior to arrival and a very cold first afternoon/evening made us feel rather unwelcome. We read in the welcome pack about drinking our “welcome Prosecco” but sadly weren’t provided with any (we weren’t expecting any so not an issue) but the milk sachets we were provided were out of date - by 9 months! Having walked into a freezing cold cottage we quickly read the instructions for heating but some hours later it was no warmer so...

"We booked out all 3 cottages over a weekend in Easter. Unfortunately, there was rain and high winds that particular weekend, but we were all very comfortable in the cottages. We loved the welcome back especiall the eggs provided by the on-site chickens. The cottages are warm and cosy with central heating, well appointed kitchens and showers. "The photos do not show this place as it is. The main issue is that the bed is in a loft space - up a very steep ladder - its claustrophobic and difficult to access if your knees and ankles are not 10 years old. Couple that with it having an unexpected wood fired hot tub - and being left only 3 small composite logs to light it for 3 nights - not enough to get it hot day 1 - and who wants to spend the evening up to your arms in soot trying to light it anyway - say its log fired in the ad / say...

"We stayed for two weeks and very much enjoyed our time. House is full of character and charm, clean and in walking distance of Solva village and coastal path. Comfortable beds, spacious and fulfilling every need. I thought it was also very reasonably priced. Great for a family."
