"A really nice hotel. We enjoyed our short stay. The room was spacious, clean and had good facilities. My only slight issue was that breakfast was a buffet. I prefer breakfast to be cooked to order. "

"A wonderful stay in a lovely town. Friendly staff and everything in the room was what we needed. Room good and large. The breakfast was big and hearty and the evening meal was supurb. Best fish & chips for a long time, fish so fresh. The Server was quick and friendly, place quite busy, but he never stopped. Excellent, think he was called Sam? (Ate at 7pm 17/6). We like your (road) cobbles."

"Exceptional beautiful room, so spacious decorated to perfection. Wonderful large bathroom with extra large bath tube. Breakfast was the most delish we have had in the UK. Location in walking distance of all shops and the Kelso Abbey just across the road. Exceptional stay. "

"Everything was good at the hotel, the facilities in the room, nice tea tray, spotless bathroom good shower with easy temperature and flow controls (no problem with wet hands), bed really comfortable. Dinner and breakfast excellent quality food, plenty of choice and service efficient. All staff encountered were courteous and attentive. "
