Okay of you want a cheap place to sleep.

WiFi was terrible. Staff was helpful but far from energetic or quick. (Zombie like). The room was okay. If you're worried about security don't stay here. The side entrances to the hotel where wide open (no need for key card) at all hours of the night. If you just need a place to sleep this place will work.

Not impressed.

The microwave & bathroom heater or door latch didn't work. The room smelled. They don't clean under the cushions of the chair. The pillows are 1/2 size and the blankets are thin. When we asked the clerk any questions we appeared to be bothering him.

Visit to Anamosa

Posted 08-Sep-2015
Pros: Close to where I needed to be.
Cons: Shower water temperature. Make sure condiments for breakfast are stocked. There was no syrup for waffles. I was there for breakfast at 9:00 a.m.
Location: I liked the Motorcycle Museum and the La Hacienda restaurant was very good.
The only thing that was of concern to me was that the temperature of the water in the shower was not consistent. It kept going from cold to hot without warning.

My Usual Place to Stay in Anamosa

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: You can not beat the value and the convenience of its location right across the street from the National Motorcycle Museum, (our point of interest).
Cons: The breakfast room could use a bit of attention.
Location: Near the National Motorcycle Museum, gas stations, and restaurants. Walmart is just a block down the road if you need anything.
This is the 4th time staying here at the Super 8 in Anamosa in the last 5 years. Over that time the property has made small but noticeable changes with repairs or upgrades. The first year that we stayed there it was suitable but rough. Room conditions are very good, clean and well appointed. It was refreshing to see the same desk clerk that greeted us two years previous. A good sign that the property is being well cared for.

Clean Hotel. Front desk staff disappointing.

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Did not have Expedia booking on file. Front desk told us we had to call Expedia. I said we did not have their number. After five plus minutes going back and forth with this same conversation, front desk finally called Expedia and handed over a room key. Room was clean and comfortable.

It started out as a trip with my wife and two daughters to visit the national motorcycle museum but thanks to the helpfulness of the young man at the front desk he gave us a map of some of the other things to see and places to dine so it was a nice little getaway for my family and I would definitely stay at that super 8 again if we're out that way thanks for your hospitality

Cross country motorcycle trip. Last minute stop. Hotel was clean but noisy in the morning. Loud banging and slamming of doors from housekeeping.
