Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout which was fantastic to see! Room i was in 808 was immaculate as expected and breakfast was also good. Would definitely recommend!

Good hotel within easy reach to city sites
The room was a good size and rhe bathroom was roomy with quality towels (& facecloths...not commonly found in european hotels). One downside..the lighting was not great. Location was within a few minute walk to the ferry to the Centraal Station so most of the city sites were easily reached. Overall, a good stay

The location was excellent beside the ferry from central station... The room was spotless and very close to lift... The staff were excellent and friendly and obliging... Food was excellent.. Room was a little bit dark but I know that was going to be the case.

Over priced small jail cell
Stayed two nights before a cruise in the smallest hotel room I have ever been in,the area around the hotel looks like a homeless camp. The windows of the hotel have metal mesh covering them looks like a prison. The rooms have a queen bed with just enough room to get around it and a small bathroom. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room so after a long day of site seeing we came back to a dirty room and no clean towels. The restaurant is way over priced even for a hotel restaurant (32 euros for a cheese burger and fries) . Don’t waste your money on this place

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. It is very convenient to the railway station just a short ferry ride, which we also enjoyed. It is located in an apartment residential area with a lot of commuters on the ferry every morning and evening. The facility has a nice breakfast buffet that we enjoyed several times. The staff in the Dining room were superb. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance along with some carry out places. There is a fantastic amount of street art around the area which we thoroughly enjoyed but some might feel concerned about it. We were also happy with the more reasonable price of this hotel, versus some of the others down by the rail station.

We loved our stay, it was a great location, absolutely amazing spot. Great facilities & staff. The only minor issue we had was the limited air flow in the room. Being on the ground floor there was only 1 window with a very slim opening which didn’t allow much flow & air conditioning was far from the bed so it’s effectiveness was minimal in that area of the room. Other than that one issue, everything was fantastic, staff we very helpful, everything was clean & as expected of a Hilton standard.

No more Hilton Hotels for me
I was quite upset because they charged me 20 Euros for late check out. This is the first time I got charged this. When I asked the counter in the morning, I was not told of this charge. I have stayed in many hotels in my life, when I request for late check out, none have charged me. This is the only one. Probably the last time I will stay with Hilton

Nice hotel but NDSM is very out of the way feom Amsterdam centre. There is a ferry available but you need to time it correct otherwise you wait for it to arrive and then have the 15min sail. To quickly nip into Amsterdam for a look and some food already will take 1 hour for the travel. Last boat sail 11.30pm so your also on a curfew. Room has aircon but it does not fully turn off. Pressing the off button simply turn the temp off but not the fan and the window does not open. Ok for a business stay but if staying for leisure I would suggest booking in Amsterdam central.

I am reading that the ferry was not the most convenient public transport way for you, I would advise for the next time to plan the travel with the schedules we can offer you in the hotel or with the information you can get at the station. It would safe you a lot of time.Regarding, the airco in the rooms. Certainly, we cannot open our windows for the safety of our guests, that is why we need to refresh the air in the rooms periodically for the wellbeing of our guests. This hotel’s biggest asset is its location. The hotel is right next to the free ferry that takes you directly into Central Station. Therefore, within 15 minutes you’re in the center of Amsterdam with access to metro, tram, buses, and the train! Around the hotel is an artsy community. There is Straat, the museum of street art and graffiti next door, but otherwise very little at this location…mostly workers live in this area and commute.

The cleaning was just making our bed and folding towels. The staff was nice, but not very helpful, the area is poorly lit by night and looks like a construction site. None of this would be a real problem had it not been for the price. That was the most expensive average hotel I've ever stayed at.

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was very delicious and a big variation. Staff very friendly, rooms clean. Area is interesting, but not that urban. However you have a ferry which can bring you quick to the central station. All in all I was very positively surprised.

Great location and hotel
I spent time researching hotels in Amsterdam and finally booked this one. Location is great. 10 min ferry ride to Amsterdam central station - It’s FREE! The ferry is roughly every 20 mins. The location is quiet and very close to a grocery shop, STRAAT museum and several restaurants. The room was clean (a few marks on the carpet but that was all) and spacious with great views. We were in a twin room which was situated at the back looking over the NDSM warf. We could still see the river from the side window. Breakfast was a continental buffet - very nice and choose of hot and cold food. The restaurant at night was good. We had room service once which was very speedy. Staff friendly.

modern, nice
NDSM is still not the most central location in Amsterdam, but if you need to stay there, this hotel is the best. great breakfast, nice lunch / dinner options. clean, modern, super nice staff. If you want to go to the city, the FREE ferry to Central is right there, every 15 minutes rush hour, 30 minutes otherwise. (even some night). Did not like the free marked around the hotel over the weekend, they are almost fully boxing us in.

Ive stayed at this property 3x prior but its gotten worse and worse! The internet was terrible for some reason! So slow and not worth staying here alone for that! We also had unused clean glasses in the room but staff demanded they change them and ended up changing them for dirty ones! Towels werent cleaned or replaced and by the end of our stay we had 1 small face towel! We also had left a room key in the power slot while we went out for dinner and when we came back someone took the room key and we werent allowed a second room key for the 2 of us! This meant we couldnt charge computers or devices while we left to property to explore! Overall its too bad because we like this area and had good experiences with this hotel but after the 4 nights we recently stayed it just isnt worth going back!

Louder than hell and meaner too!
The loudest night of my life - room windows and wall reverberated throughout the night from incredibly loud outdoor concert nearby. When I went down to front desk at complain at 12 midnight the desk attendent was smiling during a call with other guests who were complaining about the music. He laughed when I told him I shared the concerns. His response was that people could make as much noise as they wanted until 4am - actual Amsterdam law is 11pm. He provided ear plugs only after I insisted on them, and the ear plugs were not sufficient to drown out the cacophony from outside. In addition, the hotel did not supply queen sized beds that were contracted.

We had some problems with downloading Covid test results before flight check in to return home. The front desk staff was so helpful making phone calls for us. She made multiple calls requesting test certificates emailed to us till we received it. The property is centrally located, a 7 minute free ferry ride to Amsterdam centraal.
