"This is a beautiful house with the most spectacular view down the valley! Kids and adults loved the pool, either jumping in repeatedly or relaxing on the sun loungers. The house itself is huge, well equipped and a cool escape when the temperature rose. The location of the house is on a road but that didn’t bother us. "Fabio was a great host making us feel so welcome bringing us fresh cherries and generally making sure we had all we needed. Accommodation and pool were great, not a heated a pool but on hot days that’s no issue. Location was perfect for us as it provided privacy, tranquillity and views while also only being a 15 min drive from a shop, train station which put Lucca, Pisa and Braga all within reach. We’d recommend lunch in Braga and dinner in Roggio - Perfecto! Don’t be put off by no air...

"Great place to stay but getting there is quite difficult. We were told in advance and so we were aware. Best not to have much luggage as it is 240 down to get to the place. Of course 480 steps every time you leave/return. Would have been nice to have coffee in the apartment. We could not figure out the heating system as it is a pellet type furnace.
