"I had only spent one night in this property on a one-day trip to Scarborough. I was disappointed that my single room was facing the street rather then the North Sea; my private bathroom was also separate from my room, which was a bit inconvenient - but it had an excellent beach view. I struggled a bit with door lock too. "Loved it. Would consider staying again. Nice touches in room, small fridge with complementary milk, soft drinks and water, as well as the usual teas and coffee. Nice bathroom. Location at the top near the post office. And free parking was a good bonus in an area where parking spaces are few."

"Arrived later in the evening, welcome pack was ready for us. Room was small but had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Nice view from seating area in room and in a great location for exploring Whitby. Parking was made easy with a permit which cost £5 for the weekend. We left the car at the hotel for the weekend and walked everywhere. Would recommend this guest house, we had no problems at all during our stay. "
