The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many...

"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. We now have some very happy memories of our stay in Ludlow."

The location is great with the quiet beauty of the countryside but easy access to town and other places we wanted to see (RAF museum, Shrewsbury, Bridgenorth, Long Mynd… just to name a few)! "Our family had a great time at this lovely house. Location is ideal for city centre but is very quiet. One of us has trouble climbing stairs, and the single study bedroom on the ground floor plus the downstairs toilet were great to have. The hosts were very responsive when we had trouble getting the heating to work. Communication was excellent. Highly recommended!"

"An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas. It was likely that vermin would be attracted...
