Akyaka is a less well known to the Brits destination in Türkiye. From the moment we arrived at this hotel we received a warm welcome, staff were cheerful and very helpful. This is a beautiful family run hotel in stunning surroundings with pool, and food and drink service. Opposite the hotel are several restaurants on the Azmak River serving mostly fresh fish and a range of mezze. You can even eat with your feet in the river! Lovely service the guy in the hotel helped us out a lot and was accommodating. They did everything I asked for which I appreciate so much especially when we first came and we didn't have bottled water he went out his way to get it for us.

The hotel itself is nice and in a perfect location if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s also within walking distance of a charming town centre (about 20 minutes at a brisk pace).
The rooms are on the smaller side, and the standard rooms without sea view are very dark, as they overlook a garden with a large tree blocking much of the daylight.
Breakfast is good, but if you’re staying for a longer time it becomes repetitive as it’s exactly the same every day. This is also the first hotel...
