"We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on...

"The house is very nice, well mainteined, clean and comfortable. It's located just 6 minutes walking from rail station.I spent 3 nights here with my family (5 people) during our travel around Scotland and we used it as base to visit Edimburg. It has been perfect."
