"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

"On our original room that we had booked , our door wouldn't lock , we had a heplful man who didn't work at the property change us too a room , however this wasn't clean. The toilet had stains on and the sheets had bugs on. Overall disappointed with or stay"

"This is a great property in an annex of the main house. Barry and his wife have really taken great care with the decoration and presentation of the property. Very spacious and met all expectations, nice bathroom with toothpaste, razor, deodorant, soap and shampoo all available. Similarly the new kitchen was well stocked with bread, butter, jam and eggs, tea, coffee and milk, not to mention the red and white wine and bottles of beer. "This is a house of multiple occupants- shared corridors, these are not well maintained, with bare floors and scruffy areas. Other rooms had blaring music as we walked past. We don’t stay and decided to stay somewhere else instead "

"Lovely place, would highly recommend. But I think before it's next rented out the water pressure in the shower needs to be sorted as tried to have a shower and wasnt able to properly rinse body wash and shampoo off and water was spraying in all directions. Other than that the property was perfect"
