Me & my husband stayed for 2 nights & had a lovely time staff very friendly & helpful room nice & clean & very spacious breakfast was brill couldn't fault anything would recommend

Spent two nights at the Fox Inn. We used it as a the base for a mini break encompassing visit to some of the local National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area. The Inn has recently been taken over by Sarah, Mick and family. They are a very friendly team committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. We were looking for a reasonably priced comfortably B B base for our trip and the Fox certainly lived up to our expectations.

Attended a service at the crematorium and had a long drive up. The location of the hotel was only a 10 min walk from the crem

Excellent , very comfortable bed .

The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and give good advice of the area. It is a lovely walk into the town too. The food was exceptional everything of choice you could possibly wish for.

Comfortable large room with excellent en-suite facilities. Beautifully cooked breakfast. The hosts, Dawn and Danny, were delightful and full of helpful information.

Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.

Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.

An absolute gem of a place, very tastefully decorated, with everything you could need for a short break. Within easy walking distance of town.

The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

A superb stay. Very friendly. Lovely property in the heart of the town.

Lovely hotel with great rooms and great food!

A friendly family run pub with excellent meals, carvery, and breakfasts. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The carvery was excellent with a choice of three roasts, eight vegetables and two different potatoes followed by a good choice of dessert. Breakfasts are equally good with a large choice.

The room was excellent. The evening meal was good but the service was excellent. The service and the fayre was tremendous at breakfast. Overall The visit was perfect in every way. First time we have used Marston's but will look for them in the future.

The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train.
