In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. "A beautiful hotel with grand high ceilings and an eccentric historical townhouse charm. Perfectly located right on the shore of Loch Maree, with private lake access. Our room was peaceful and quiet, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The host was exceptionally friendly, warm and accommodating, adding a welcoming atmosphere to both the hotel and its cosy bar. He went out of his way to meet our requests, making us feel truly cared for. Easily our best experience on the NC500. "
