Great stay and helpful staff !

The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too.

This hotel is a shining example to others. Everything is super. The service is excellent, staff lovely, food excellent. Ambiance is relaxing. Location not bad either! Country house hotel at its best, without any of the stuffiness. As as solo traveller I felt very comfortable. I will make a point of returning. No complaints whatsoever.

Can highly recommend this guest house. Superb views from the en-suite room and breakfast room, comfy bed, clean and the host is excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh and all diets are catered for. There is plenty of parking on-site, places to eat in the local village and places within a short drive. Easy access to the coast road.

Lovely location, staff very helpful and kind. Rooms clean and well stocked with coffee etc. View from our room was stunning and the temperature in the room was perfect, the ability to open the window at night was good. The menu was not the largest and didn't change through the week but the food we did have was excellent.

Perfect location, heating took a while to warm the pod, shower and bath both great. The sign is missing for parking so not obvious where you should park. Other than that it was almost a 5 out of 5!

Fabulous place to stay, great attentive staff and within walking distance to city centre. Highly recommend.

We arrived in darkness and were welcomed into a cosy bar with an open fire and comfy lounge area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and had even offered to prepare us a meal as we wouldn’t be arriving before the kitchen closed at 9pm. The room was beautiful and I loved the style, a lovely nip of whiskey awaited us and some shortbread. The room was immaculate with cosy dressing gowns. When we woke up the next day we couldn’t believe the view from our room right across the sea. We will return...

The hotel is an old mansion full of character and charm. The staff was excellent and the food was as well. We had a very enjoyable stay and recommend this place without hesitation.

Great hotel on the water with an excellent restaurant. It was hard to find a hotel on the Isle of Skye, but we were extremely fortunate to find a room here on short notice.

Whatever negative comments you've read on here IGNORE!!!! Yea the rooms are a little tired but the place is a castle not a 5* hotel! The room is equipped with everything you need, iron, TV, bath/shower, comfortable clean beds and wifi. If you want much more than that then stay in one of the generic chain hotels. The staff are fantastic, I was shown to my room which was great and even offered assistance with my 1 bag! The food is great, home cooked with generous sizes and very reasonable...

Great location, few mins walk into town Centre, place was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Would come back

This property was very nice. It was fully stocked and very clean! I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is also in a very good location.

Very enjoyable one night stay. Good location for Loch Ness and Inverness. Our room was called Ness which we booked on a last minute deal which made it value for money. Breakfast was excellent we didn't have dinner in the hotel but instead went to a superb restaurant called Fiddler's in Drumnadrochit a village on Loch Ness about 15 minutes away where they have over 600 Malt Whiskies and great food. Need to book in advance, we were lucky to get a table.
